PCSleek Free Error Cleaner 2.70 is the latest released version of this freeware for Windows. It has been especially designed to help us restore and clean up our registry entries. It has a smart graphic user’s interface giving us step-by-step instructions. First, we must select to scan one or the entire following registry items (by default they are all selected): Registry Integrity, ActiveX/COM, Old Software, Application, Application Paths, File associate, Device Drivers, Windows Fonts, Help Files, Microsoft Shared, Windows Startup, Installer, Uninstall Section, Start Menu, MS-Dos Shortcut, and Windows Shortcut. We then press the Start Scan button. It will search for problems and present us the errors found and where they are located. We can see those errors in detail. Next, we press Repair and it will start fixing all the problems. We can download this software directly from the developer’s website. First, we need to register by entering our e-mail address. Immediately, we receive an e-mail message. Upon confirmation, we receive a second e-mail message containing the free registration key that we must enter when we are required to do so. Otherwise, the program will not fix the problems found.
